Powerboat Training Courses

A fast and exciting way to get into boating is the thrill of driving a powerboat. We provide powerboat training courses which are recognized by the ISA - Irish Sailing Association. We cover the Irish Sailing syllabus and upon course completion your certificate will be issued via Irish Sailing.

National Powerboat Certificate (NPC)

• Develop the skills and knowledge necessary to safely, and effectively, skipper an open powerboat, by day, on inland and coastal waters with which they are familiar.

• Develop skills and knowledge to safely take charge and be the skipper of an open powerboat, by day, without supervision in familiar waters.

• Understand boat preparation and handling both afloat and ashore.

There are currently two options for course dates: 3 half days over weekdays or 2 full days over the weekend.
